Kristin Fisher has joined the CNN Space and Defense Correspondent team on July 20, 2021. She covers everything, including NASA, Space Force, Space Force and commercial space companies, to the emergence of Space Tourism. Kristin was born into the space sector as the daughter and granddaughter of NASA astronauts. For the last five years she's reported on space policy during the Biden and Trump administrations for FOX News. While there, she also covered impeachment trials for the president as well as the 2020 presidential campaign, and two attempts by the administration to stop the spread of coronavirus. Additionally, she went on trips with President Trump and Vice President Biden extensively. It included a secret visit to Afghanistan. Kristin was a television reporter in Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., where she earned an Emmy Award for her work as an "one-man-band" reporter, before becoming a reporter for CBS in 2015. Kristin utilized her knowledge in front of the camera to launch Field Mouse Films. The company specialized in producing documentary-style films. It was also a favourite among corporate clients, including Uber, Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Boston University. She currently lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband and three year old daughter.
